I PASSED

Hello Everyone,

I just got back from Omaha on Sunday night and surprise surprise I passed my test with flying colors. When I spoke with the panel of judges on what I could work on. They all said nothing that I should continue doing what I was doing. They were all very impressed that I had come so far since my knee surgeries.

I am thrilled to hear that the Robisnon-Banks Clan is safe. I wish them all the best in the upcoming months.

Sending all of my positive KI to Florida --- GOOD LUCK JAKE!!!

Omaha is kind of a nice place but has the smallest airport that I have ever flown into. The downtown district called the old market was way cool. They have converted old warehouses and old beautiful buildings into a hustling and bustling market, shopping, eating area. If you are ever in town there is a brewery called Upstream that has Great food and good beer (according to the guys I was with).

Any ways on to new things. Mom is taking Nathan and Tasha and their kids to Disneyland in September and I have invited myself to go. I think it will be fun. Maybe next year Disney World!!!

Talk with everyone soon

Becky

Greetings from Orlando!

Hello family,

We arrived in Orlando yesterday afternoon, and are loving our new home. It took us until late this morning to sort out our Internet or I would've written this sooner. The drive wasn't too bad, I wasn't driving so I can't speak for the others. The kids were very bored, the animals did very well, the tarantula survived the journey, and we only had a few white knuckle moments. The first day to Bernalillo was without incident (except for all the construction stops) and we ate at a fabulous local restaurant.
The second day we went past Dallas TX, ended up driving 720 miles and stayed in Tyrell. That drive was kind of scary. While departing Bernalillo Ma and Cody were almost run off the road by a semi. An hour the same thing happened to Jake and me, followed by a minivan and an SUV later on (These were a few of those white knuckle moments) All three times the other driver wasn't signaling or checking their blind spots. Dad was cut of by a girl in a VW Bug. The third day was also long because we wanted to take advantage of the weekend traffic. We finished up Texas and drove through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and ended up in Milton Florida. There was a LOT of rain in Louisiana. We had a couple times where we were... well, terrified! At the rest stop Jake left his very nice sunglasses and after back tracking for about 30 miles (round trip) we discovered that people weren't feeling very...nice. So after our long days we only had 400 miles left to get to Orlando! We made it almost swimmingly, but a FL driver almost ran us off the road...People really don't like their blinkers in the South.
Our Realtor met us here and supplied us with some things that we would need: TP, paper plates, plastic cups and utensils, ect. Which was very sweet of her. We went shopping for a couple more things and then relaxed the night away.
Wesley, our eldest cat, is still kind of freaked out about everything. He hides in a blanket all day and only comes out at night. The other cats are doing great, and have made themselves comfortable. Tony is also pretty settled.
Cody and Josie met a new friend at the pool today. His name is Shaun and he is Cody's age. It was fun watching them all play together. We also met a neighbor from around the corner who was very nice. His name is Alex and he said that if we were interested in salsa lessons he would be more than happy to teach us to dance. He also let us know about things to look out for.
We drove around and explored the historic downtown of Winter Garden and it was so beautiful. The we went and purchased ceiling fans and lights. Which we were in need of. The AC is great but it is nice to have some extra air flow.
Dad starts school next week, and Jake has an interview on Thursday. Hopefully this weekend we will be celebrating Jake's new job. The VP of the company he sent a resume to emailed him personally and set up an interview. So wish him luck. :)
We have our phone set up here so if you all would like to give us a call at anytime our new number is 407-656-6631. We are 15 minutes from the back entrance to Disney world so you all have to come and visit! The fireworks the send off at night are amazing! The beach is pretty close to.
We love and miss you all and can't wait to hear from you. Don't be shy now. Now I'm going to read the other blogs and leave comments like I have done with the first two. Hugs and kisses to you all.

Hello Everyone

Just a qucik note to let you know whats going on in our neck of the woods.

Lynn is putting a new team together for Hanalee. It will be really crazy around here are a while, but I think he is enjoying it. They have picked up a few girls off the all-star team and are looking to add a few more. They played in the West Valley Classic the last weekend of July and took 4th. They played really well and Hanalee is getting to be a good pitcher.

Daphne is enjoying being the only one home for a few hours everyday, I had her going exercise with me this morning. Her team played in the Mizuno classic last weekend and took 2nd. They lost to a pretty hard team. Daphne still loves softball and will probably continue to play for years to come. Daphne is also looking forward to go to girls camp next week.

Hanalee has started 5th grade and is loving it. She is struggling with her new class and new teacher. She loved her 4th grade teacher. Hanalee also enjoys softball and will practice without too much complaint, unlike her older sister.

Miles started his first day if kindergarten today and had a great time. His only complaint is he has no friends in his class. Im sure by the end of the week he will have friends. Miles also starts soccer in a few weeks. He is way excited.

I'm busy trying to keep track of everyone and working. I'm loving going to the kids games.

We are headed to Montana on Friday morning for a family reunion. We are looking forward to see some of you in Star Valley in a few weeks.

Good Luck Stan, Lana and Family on your new adventure.

Love Ya All!

Hi, everyone

We need to get this going. Grandma, LaNece, my mom and I went to a bridal shower for Ashley Jensen today it was alot of fun. The best part was when Aunt Rose gave her a night gown and then told her that night gown were to be placed and the end of the bed in case of fire!! I have not laughed so hard in awhile. Anyway I hope maybe we can keep in better touch with our lives here.

On July 25th I am going to Omaha Nebraska to test for Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in my Japanese sword class known as Iaido. Wish me luck!!!

Talk to you guys later

Helping to get the ball rolling!

I figure that we'll all be posting a bit more once we get down to Florida but I just thought I would throw down a post with some pictures of what we did over the 4th of July weekend. This is from the top of Wheeler Peak after we hiked up, it's about 13,000 feet.
